Last week the Globe and Mail turned on its paywall in hopes to drive more revenues by having readers pay to access content, and today the Toronto Star has announced they too plan to add a paywall.  John Cruickshank, Publisher of the Toronto Star made the announcement to readers this morning that the newspaper would have their paywall offering ready for the new year.  No official word yet as to the price structure that the Toronto Star will use.
