Globe and Mail Turns On Pay Wall, Will Consumers Pay N' Stay?

In an effort to increase their revenue, the Globe and Mail will be turning on a pay wall next week, they are calling the new offering Globe Unlimited, and customers will have access to the best of The Globe, in print and online, including a new with tools that allow you to set your own Globe reading list; a range of new, exclusive journalism and insights; and exclusive offers from our advertisers.

Other newspapers around the world have tested and jumped into the pay wall pool including The New York Times and Britain’s Telegraph,  so the overall business model can work. The big question will be can it work for the Globe and Mail?
