Sony, First To Bring Google TV Device To Canada

Now with Google’s annual Google I/O event behind us, manufactures are announcing their new line up of products and services that will tap into the Google ecosystem. First up, Sony Canada who has announced the availability and pricing of the NSZ-GS7, Sony Internet Player with Google TV, originally introduced in January at CES 2012.  The device will hit retailers later this summer, but Sony is taking pre-orders through their site now.

In addition to the NSZ-GS7 Internet Player, Sony’s newest Internet Blu-ray Disc player with Google TV, the NSZ-GP9, priced at $329.99. The NSZ-GP9 player features Full HD with remarkable Blu-ray Disc technology and a built-in microphone for easy and convenient voice search.  So it looks like Canadians will finally get a taste of Google TV later this summer.
