MoneyBar Reward Scores Round Of Funding, Get New CEO

Online loyalty and rewards platform provider MoneyBar Rewards has secured a round of venture funding yesterday from Bluestone.vc’s. MoneyBar was founded in 2004 by Ron Frank who will serve as President of the company.

Greg Feller, a Founding Partner of Bluestone.vc, will be joining the Board of Directors of MoneyBar Rewards. Greg has spent over 16 years in technology banking at some of the world’s leading banks including Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and UBS.

The company also announced that Tyler Nelson has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MoneyBar. Most recently Tyler was Chariman and CEO of Adenyo, which was sold to Motricity for $100M in 2011. Prior to Adenyo, Tyler held senior executive positions at leading Canadian technology companies including Research In Motion, Bridgewater Systems and QNX Software Systems. In 2008, he Co-Founded YOU i Labs.
