Marketers all around the world are tapping into the Facebook ecosystem with their brands in hopes of getting the 650,000+ users to “Like” their brand. Today Nathan Rosenberg, Chief Marketing Officer, Virgin Mobile Canada and crew launched the “Love Button” app on Facebook that allows users of the world’s largest social network to love their favourite pictures, statuses, pages and links instead of the traditional Facebook Like button.
This new app is part of their Love Movement campaign where street teams will hit downtown Toronto on March 28, and other Torontoians are encouraged to share in the love.

To get the app, scroll over to love.virginmobile.ca to sign the online petition to support the love movement and then they can get the app and start loving ASAP! The first half million items loved on Facebook through the Virgin Love Button app, Virgin Mobile will make a $.05 donation to the Red Cross and relief efforts in Japan. Those who want to give some extra love can also give to the Red Cross from by texting ASIA to 30333 to donate $5.
